Subject: KDC Error

I am receving a KDC Error in Win2K Server event log (DC). Searching
Microsoft Knowledge Based did not reveal anything. KDC gives the client a
logon session key and a TGT. Here is the detailed information about the
event:

Event Type: Error

Event Source: KDC

Event Category: None

Event ID: 7

Date: 5/9/2002

Time: 10:24:39 AM

User: N/A

Computer: ALPHA

Description:

The Security Account Manager failed a KDC request in an unexpected way. The
error is in the data field. The account name was ???????????? and lookup
type 0x100.

Data:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any idea is to why SAM is failing KDC in an unexpected way?
