The default location for the keytab file is /etc/krb5.keytab, if you're
using a Kerberos IV server, try /etc/srvtab.  If you mean some other
file, then I don't know which file you mean.

I'm not sure I understand the question.  The krb5-workstation binary
package included in Red Hat Linux contains various binaries which would
be used on workstations which are configured to use Kerberos, but IIRC
nothing requires it directly.
