Hmmm, no, you'll have to "make install", BUT, you can install to a
temporary location, one different than the one given to "./configure
--prefix=...", like so: "make -e DESTDIR=/tmp/xyz prefix=/ install"
Then you can ./configure --with-kerberos5=/tmp/xyz.
If you build the MIT source with static libraries then once OpenSSH is
done building you can remove /tmp/xyz/.
It cna be useful to build OpenSSH with Kerberos linked in statically
because then you can distribute OpenSSH separately from Kerberos and still
be expected to work (though the Kerberos support will depend on
krb5.conf, krb5.keytab and the kerberos utils [e.g., kinit]).
