How to prevent very very large ccaches?

Funny, I keep getting "Unknown credential cache type while getting
default ccache" whenever I try KRB5CCNAME=STDIO:/path/to/ccache. But the
stdio ccache is actually compiled in, it's in the library. Hmmm...
