bah.  Nothing in the kerberos code uses an FPU (certainly nothing in
the crypto -- only things in gssftp, for example, to print transfer
speeds as bytes/second.)  And as for 68030, well, the *idea* may
frighten you, but the actual performance hit (especially with a human
typing) is surprisingly small...
