Hi All,
The ITSelf Reading group met this past Thursday and agreed to meet next on
Thursday, October 23, from 11a-12:30p, in E51-275. To gear up for Manuel
Castells' upcoming visit to MIT's campus in the winter, we decided
to dedicate the next meeting to a discussion of the first volume of his
Information Age trilogy: "The Rise of the Network Society." Mark your
calendars and pace your reading...
If you know other folks who were interested in attending future
meetings but weren't able to make the last meeting, please do forward
this info on to them (or ask them to email me and I'll be sure to add
them to the list).
And thanks to everyone who turned up for the group's first meeting. It
was a great, lively discussion!
