Hello,
I wanted to let you know I'll be doing a demo of our initial release of
Stellar Images. As I mentioned a while back, this initial release can
gather images from a couple of repositories and save them to a class
website. We'll be adding more functionality over the next several
months, building up to Fall 2006 when the tool will allow you to create
slideshow presentations.
More details on the tool and how to be part of the pilot at the
presentation next week.
Best wishes,
Ben

Single session event
Stellar Images is a new tool being developed by the Stellar team that
lets instructors search for images to use in the classroom. Initially
the Stellar community will have access to images from the Rotch Visual
Collection and the Visualizing Cultures Image Database. In this
session, Ben will demonstrate the tool and gather feedback on how to
improve it. Current plans for the tool are to add additional sources
for images, as well as functionality for creating slideshows.
