Back in December, I recall a conversation about setting up sourceforge  
accounts and then branching the mobile source code to develop  
locally.  I remember that the idea was that we'd compare notes and  
branches after a year or so and decide where to go.

Is that still the general idea?  I did create a user account  
(johnpennypacker) but I never notified anyone.   I spent some time  
this morning looking over the code, and before I get in too deep with  
changes, I figured I'd check in to see what is the best way to proceed.
