Hi Dave,

For MIT, version 1.0 took less than 2 days for approval. The subsequent releases took longer, but all had been reviewed and approved in less than one week.

It's worth noting here that if you were to use the MIT Mobile Framework as the basis for building your iPhone app, you will probably gain a lot from the bug testing and performance improvements that we had made that can reduce the chance of the app getting rejected due to crashes and performance issues.
