The short answer is that they are similar but a little different ;-)

-- iPhone ->  WebKit: iPhone
-- Smartphone -> WebKit: Android
-- Smartphone -> WebKit: webOS
-- Smartphone (touchscreen) -> Touch
-- Smartphone (non-touchscreen) -> Basic
-- Featurephone (touchscreen) -> Touch
