Future Humans at the Berggruen Institute is hiring a Sr. Program Manager:

They will work closely with me and Ulysses Yarber, FH's Program Coordinator, on projects such as:

Vaster than Empires, a science and speculative fiction writing workshop (Rome 2024)
Life, Otherwise, simulated / evolved life on speculative exoplanets (LA, 2025)
Aliens, a symposium (Santa Cruz / LA 2024)
Embodiment & Intelligence, on the future of minds and AI (LA)
Multispecies Constitution, a proposal for planetary flourishing (Bogota, Venice, 2025)
Time & Consciousness, (France, LA, 2025)

I am seeking someone who is highly organized and outcome-oriented to implement these projects and support their development (lectures, events, books, symposia, workshops, publications). An interest in Future Humans' research (history, philosophy, biology, astrophysics, sci-fi) would complement our team.

The salary range is $90,000 - $110,000. The applicant will be local to LA or willing to move to LA. I am seeking to hire this position quickly.
