Wage Lecturers in the Department of Engineering and Society at the University of Virginia
The Department of Engineering and Society at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science (http://www.eands.virginia.edu/) seeks candidates to teach specific undergraduate courses on science, technology, and society [STS] and engineering. This position is part-time with the successful applicants being paid per course as wage-faculty.
Candidates must have at least a Master's degree or prior experience in teaching at the college or university level. A Ph.D. is preferred. The degree must be in STS or a related field. Experienceteaching ethics and/or writing to engineers is preferred.
