Dear Colleagues,

We have a search for an endowed professorship, the Dibner Family Chair,  in our department, the Department of Technology, Culture, and Society at Tandon.    The job ad is here:  https://apply.interfolio.com/115940


The department has changed its focus since we last spoke.  Our main program is the Integrated Design Media (BS and MS). We also have Technology Ethics, which is a service program as we now require an STS based technology ethics course for all Tandon undergrads.

So the scholar we are looking for has to be in a field related to the design program (for example: design history or theory, urban design history or theory,  or media history or theory, tech ethics, or history/ STS people related to those fields,   The chair itself has generous funding to support humanities or social science research.
