Please save the dates of April 3-4, 2020, for the Joint Atlantic Seminar in the History of Biology, which will be hosted by Johns Hopkins University next spring. The Call for Papers will be sent about mid-November. I’m also pleased to announce the following new faculty position at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore MD (see also the attached flyer):

The History of Science and Technology Department at the Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the history of modern life sciences. Deadline is October 15, 2019. Our desire is to reach all possible candidates, as well as established scholars who will help us identify and reach a diverse pool of candidates.
