TEACHING POSITIONS AT GBD PROGRAM IN MADRID

The University Paris-Dauphine in association with the Carlos III International School is seeking to appoint lecturers in the fields of Economics, Management and Social Sciences for different courses taught in the Global Bachelor Dauphine program starting in Madrid on September 2017 (for detailed information, please consult: http://www.lso.dauphine.fr<http://www.lso.dauphine.fr/>). In particular we are looking for a lecturer in the following fields:

- History and Management of the Company. For this course, we seek a scholar specialized in business history, that will teach the history and management of the company through historical case studies. Applicants whose work involves a transnational perspective are especially welcome. 39h (during first semester).

COURSES GUIDELINES

Lecturers of the GBD program should follow the French curriculum as closely as possible. However, it is the responsibility of the GBD lecturers to plan, build and deliver their courses in accordance with their expertise, experience and bibliography. Faculty lectures are expected to be present during the exams, define exam topics (including reset exams), and deliver office hours (at least one hour per week). Exams should be consulted and agreed upon with Paris-Dauphine professors in charge of similar courses in Paris (students achieve a common French Diploma at the end of the program). French marking methods and schemes must be taken into account and respected. Attendance to GBD meetings (welcome meeting, jurys, end of terms meetings) is also expected. All these requirements are included in teachers’ salary.

APPLICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are expected to:

- Be fluent in the teaching language (English or Spanish). Some knowledge of French would be appreciated but not requested.

- Have a PhD (in process or achieved) by a reputable University, as minimum qualification.

- Prove significant teaching experience.

Applications will be reviewed on a continuing basis. We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will be equally considered.

Candidates should contact and send their CV to the GBD-Madrid program directors Marta Menéndez (marta.menéndez at dauphine.fr<mailto:ndez at dauphine.fr>) and Nora Lado (nora at eco.uc3m.es<mailto:nora at eco.uc3m.es>).

LOCATION

The candidate will work at the Carlos III International School, located at the Getafe Campus of the University Carlos III.

COMPENSATION AND DEDICATION

The successful candidate will have a contract with a compensation according to her/his qualification.
