Subject: assistant professor position in the history of science at Penn
Dear Roz,
I hope your summer is starting well and that you’ve been well. I haven’t been able to come to Cambridge in the last year, but am working on an opportunity to do so and visit and say hello.
I am in touch today because we just advertised a position in the history of science, and I wanted to send you the ad and the link and ask you if you might like to circulate it among people who would be interested and good candidates. Interested people are very welcome to contact me with questions (or Etienne Benson or Susan Lindee – we are the search committee, Susan is the chair).
I look forward to catching up more in due course. Perhaps at SHOT or HSS? I’ll definitely let you know, other than that, when I am in Cambridge next.
Yours sincerely,
Heidi
