The Department of Gender Studies at Indiana University Bloomington
seeks to appoint an assistant professor in the area of gender and
science beginning in the 2012-13 academic year. We invite applications
from scholars whose work demonstrates a serious commitment to bridging
intellectual and methodological divides between the natural, physical,
behavioral, or social sciences and the humanities, from a feminist or
queer perspective. Applications are encouraged from scholars whose work
engages creatively with one or more of the following areas of
expertise: sexuality, race and racialization, ethnicity, class and
socio-economic inequality, or bodies and embodiment. For additional

Salary, fringe benefits, research and teaching opportunities are
consistent with peer Research One institutions. Completed applications
