Joe's eating

Joe ate his first solid food today, just a few bites, but it tasted good he said.  They say they’ll send him home tomorrow, but we’ll believe that when we see it. The nurse reminded him that though he has small scars, a lot of cutting was done inside.  He said, “I’ll just tell people even though I look good they should feel sorry for me.” I biked to the hospital and back, twelve miles. Good for my mental health.  Love, Gay
