Sunday update

[Joe Haldeman]

Sun 9/27  12:45.  Last night Joe's fever went down, with the help of a  
cooling mattress.  A doctor thought he should be running a fever,  
though, since that helps fight infection.  So now his fever is  
extremely high.  They've changed some meds, but it's still high.   
Other signs are still okay.  One day at a time.  Gay
