Tues Oct 6 update

Still fever, still ICU. Joe had the tracheostomy this afternoon.  He came through fine and looks more relaxed, with that tube out of his throat.  They’ll keep him sedated tonight to recover, then will begin letting up on the sedation tomorrow.  We'll see how that goes.  I'm hoping this is a strong turn for the better. We'll see. One day at a time. 

Guy and Becca loaned me a car!  I returned my expensive rental car today.  My wonderful sister leaves tomorrow and my wonderful niece Lorena and her husband Tim come in tomorrow. Love, Gay
