12/11 Friday update

Joe went to the VA primary care doc today and we did all the requests  
and paperwork, etc.  The doc didn't have the lab results, but he had  
spoken to Dr. Ellis in Cincinnati.  I called Dr. Ellis's office and  
they faxed the lab results.  We'll know more next week, they say.   
He's requested an Infectious Disease consult and a surgery consult  
and a nutrition consult.  So now we're in the pipeline, anyway.   
Joe's feeling pretty good, but he slept for three hours after the VA  
ordeal.  Then we went to Brandy and Christina's for dinner and a  
movie and he stayed awake. Love, Gay
