Hello lovely off-campus people!



Check out some awesome OCH events this month – a improv comedy show in the
North End, brunch at Gaslight Brasserie du Coin in South End, and questing
at Boda Borg in Malden! Keep on reading for some fantastic events from MIT
Language Conversation Exchange (LCE) and MIT Spouses & Partners Connect
(S&PC).



Additionally, as the academic year comes to a close, we are looking to
recruit new Off Campus Housing Chairs! If you enjoy planning events and

Description: Join OCH to see a 90-minute show at Boston's best
improvisational comedy theater in North End! Enter the lottery for a chance

person (including tip and shared pastries!) is about $18 and OCH will cover

their Quests tackling a variety of mental and physical challenges. We'll

provides peer support for all graduate students across the Institute.
Our mission is to ensure graduate student wellness, especially in times of

Conflict Management at MIT.
They are available to have confidential conversations, and can make
informed referrals to other resources and offices at MIT.

Description: Join us for pizza and a movie on 4 Thursday evenings in April
and May.

Food will be served at 6 p.m., movie starts at 6:30 p.m. Space is limited -

11. Coworking Space for Job Seekers

Description: Spend an afternoon working side by side with other job
seekers. Stacey Wiessbock from JobssNow will be there to answer questions
and provide support.

When: Thursday, April 25 from 12-1:30 p.m.

Description: There is “power” in numbers so bring your lunch and let’s lead
each other through the chaos of the job search.  Join Stacey Wiessbock of
JobssNow to discuss the obstacles in your job search and to learn new
strategies and tips for navigating the ever changing landscape of
unemployment.
