1. Spyce - Dinner

Description: Come join OCH at Boston's robotic restaurant - Spyce! Opening
earlier this Spring as a collaboration between a French chef and 2 MIT
students, Spyce offers healthy robot-made bowls. There are vegetarian,
pescatarian, and vegan options. Come join us for dinner, and perhaps some
discussion about the role robots play in our future... brownie points for
any West World and Black Mirror references! Sign up through the lottery for
a chance for free dinner.

group to share their expertise; we visit interesting places in Boston; or
we socialize around art and fitness.

3. MSPC Cartooning Class
When: Starts Thurs, Sept 20, 6:00pm

Description:
This workshop will cover the creation of short format comics - 1 to 2
pages. Each course will help you improve your drawing and storytelling
abilities.
· Sept 20th- We will begin with a crash course in simple caricatures
with exercises and homework.
· Sept 27th- We will practice short form storytelling and develop a
story for our final cartoons.
· Oct 4th- We will work on translating the stories into sequences,
and drafting final versions.
· Oct 11th- We will ink, letter and prepare the final comics
A $45 deposit is required and will be returned to you if you attend all 4
sessions. Please email Mauricio with any questions.

4. MSPC Crafternoon: Hand-Crafted Decoupage
When: Thurs, Sept 27, 1:30-4:30pm
Where: Eastgate Penthouse – E55
RSVP: Just show up!
Description: We will be making personalized tote-bags using decoupage
technique. Feel free to bring your decorative paper napkins, decoupage
papers, etc. You can also bring your own preferred fabric item to do
decoupage on. We will be providing plain Tote-bags and other decorative
items on first-come, first-served basis.

5. MSPC Language Lunch – Meet Eat Speak

Description: Come to meet other language enthusiasts, students taking
learning languages, and native speakers of languages you’d like to

Description: What we do:
The MIT iREFS group is a student group that provides peer support for all
graduate students across the Institute.
Our mission is to ensure graduate student wellness, especially in times of
uncertainty, stress and conflict.
Responsibilities:
iREFS is comprised of graduate students trained in conflict management by
Conflict Management at MIT.
They are available to have confidential conversations, and can make
informed referrals to other resources and offices at MIT.
We are here to help and support YOU!
