Hope you're enjoying the beginning of Fall! We have some awesome events planned for you this month! We have a haunted tour of Boston to get in the Halloween spirit, an escape the room at Trapology, and Paint Nite with ukuleles! October events with MIT Spouses & Partners Connect are also included. See below for more details.
Sign up through the RSVP link for a spot in the lottery. We'll contact the first round of lottery winners closer to the date of the events (and post that invites went out on our Facebook group- please join if you haven't already!) and then reach out to people on the waitlist as needed.

"The 90-minute long walking tour will take you through the historic and haunted streets of Boston in search of the countless ghosts rumored to haunt the city." 2. Trapology: Escape the Room!

Description: Join OCH for an interactive experience in a real-life adventure escape room at Trapology, Boston! A group of 10 off-campusers will explore the rooms and work together to find clues and solve some mind-bending riddles and brainteasers. Description: Join OCH on Halloween night at an in-venue Paint Nite Labs event where you get to build, decorate, and play a custom ukulele! Career Connect Conference - Part 1

Start off your job search with MIT Spouses & Partners Career Connect! Our conference is a great way to get inspired, ask some of your burning questions, and meet other job seekers. This conference will cover all of the basics of a job search: resumes, cover letters, interviewing and networking. Our speakers are MIT staff members who have worked with MS&PC for many years, and they understand the unique challenges our job seekers face.

When you arrive (starting at 10 a.m.), you will be asked to check-in and make a name tag. Then you will be directed to place your donations on the appropriate tables around the room. Items will be arranged by age and gender.

Then you may choose several items you would like to take.

The exchange will include kids clothing, outerwear, shoes, toys and books for children ages birth-5.
Expectant parents welcome. You do not need to bring clothes to participate, but please bring your own bags.
Any leftover donations will be given to Cradles to Crayons<https://www.cradlestocrayons.org/boston/>, a non profit organization that provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. They supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities.

The MIT iREFS group is a student group that provides peer support for all graduate students across the Institute.
