In addition to our previous announcement about all-you-can-eat ice cream at
the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl, we have planned 3 more exciting events for you

1. Charles River Kayaking
When: Wednesday, June 13th at 5:00pm
Where: 15 Broad Canal Way
Cambridge, Massachusetts 02142

Description: Beat the summer heat and join OCH for a nice evening kayaking
out on the Charles! Meet us at Charles River Canoe in Kendall Square at
5:00 pm -- we have 12 double kayaks reserved from 5:30pm-7:00pm, which
gives us 1.5 hrs on the water! There are some nice sights to see and it's
also a great chance to meet new off-campus folks as you watch a beautiful
sunset. OCH will cover the full cost for the kayak rental -- sign up for a
spot on the lottery and we will get back to you. (Note: Please sign up only
if you can swim!)

2. Dinner at Sarma
When: Monday, June 25th at 6pm

Description: Join us for a very fancy dinner at Sarma, a beautiful and
festive middle eastern restaurant in Somerville. Sarma is very well rated
and was one of the 38 best restaurants in America in 2016! OCH will cover
half the cost of a family-style menu (not including drinks), so this brings
the cost down per person down to $33. Sign up for a spot on the lottery and
we will get back to you with details on how to reserve your spot!

3. Hereditary (Movie) & Ice Cream
When: Tues, June 26th at 6pm
Where: JP Licks (4 College Ave A, Somerville, MA 02144) then Somerville
Theater (55 Davis Square, Somerville, MA 02144)

Description: Join us for ice cream and a movie in Davis Square! We'll be
grabbing a snack at JP Licks at 6pm and then catching a showing of
Hereditary (supernatural/drama/horror) around 7pm (showing time TBA).
Hereditary premiered at Sundance earlier this year and was branded the
"scariest horror movie in years." If the ice cream doesn't chill you to the
bone, this movie sure will! OCH will cover the full cost of ice cream and
movie; sign up for a spot in the lottery.

Description: What we do:
The MIT iREFS group is a student group that provides peer support for all
graduate students across the Institute.
Our mission is to ensure graduate student wellness, especially in times of
uncertainty, stress and conflict.

Responsibilities:
iREFS is comprised of graduate students trained in conflict management by
Conflict Management at MIT.
They are available to have confidential conversations, and can make
informed referrals to other resources and offices at MIT.

We are here to help and support YOU!
Feel free to reach out to us at any time, we would love to take you out for
coffee/tea & hear what's going on in your life!
