Hello Off-Campus Housers!!

Welcome to MIT to all the new comers and welcome back to all the returning students. And Hi to all the fellow students who never left for the summer and were waiting for off campus events to come back. Well, WE ARE BACK!!! With awesome events lined up for you all.

I'd also like to welcome two new co-chairs to OCH committee: Molly Bird and Mahreen Khan. They are already exploring awesome concepts such as an Oktoberfest series of brewery tours!

How does it work? You sign up for the lottery on the signup link of the month. If you are lucky, an email will be sent to you with the details of the event.

Where: Meet-up at CBC at 6PM and then movie around 7PM at Landmark

Description: We are inaugurating a new tradition "Movie Monday": we meet up at CBC around some Nachos, decide on a movie to go see all together, go to Landmark Cinema and watch the hottest movie of the week. This month, I bet mother! will be on everyone's mind. The OCH will subsidize nachos and movie tickets (if you are selected)

4. iREFS
When: Thursdays, 1-2PM

Description: Walk-in office hours for graduate students to directly access an iREFS to talk to! iREFS is a graduate student group that provides confidential peer support for all graduate students across the Institute. At office hours, iREFS members will be available to take students out to coffee/tea, have confidential conversations, & make informed referrals to other resources and offices at MIT.
