Hello Off-Campus Residents!
November is here and chilly weather is here to stay. So let's get warm and cozy this month with indoor events surrounded by old and new friends. We hope some of these will tickle your fancy.
Participants will be selected from the signups (http://signup.mit.edu/NovemberOCH) on a lottery basis.
As always, if you have a suggestion for an event or an issue regarding off-campus life that could be relevant for discussion with the GSC, please let us know. If you have an event that you would like advertised to this list, use this form: http://goo.gl/QtXtNP <http://goo.gl/QtXtNP> . We're always looking for help brainstorming and organizing new events.
Your friendly Off-Campus- Co-chairs,
Rachit, Elise, and Olesya

2. Mystery of the Magician's Study: An Escape Adventure
When: Friday, November 18, 7:30PM
Where: Boxaroo (55 Court St Suite B100B, Boston, MA)
Contact: levsh at mit.edu
RSVP: http://signup.mit.edu/NovemberOCH
Description: You and your fellow investigators take it upon yourselves to explore the study of a once renowned magician, tucked away deep inside an abandoned vault. There's something mystical about this place... Perhaps there's still some magic left underneath the layers of dust. Unlike most 'escape the rooms', you won't be trapped in a room- rather, you and your team of investigators will solve puzzles, connect clues, and see how much you can unlock before time runs out.
Rooms run on average around 60 minutes. Selection will be a lottery-based signup. OCH will subsidize part of the ticket cost, but please be prepared to bring $10 in cash to cover the rest.

Come celebrate Friendsgiving with your fellow off campus graduate students at Citizen Public House and enjoy a "truly one of the Boston's most unique dining experience". The dinner will include assorted shellfish and sides to round up the fancy dinner. I def recommend checking out their website for more description.
