Hello Off-Campus Residents!

February is snowy and wintery. But no worries! We have a great set of
indoor events for you guys. We are watching Kung Fu Panda 3, rock climbing,
and ICE SKATTTTINGGGG! Make sure you sign up!

As always, if you have a suggestion for an event or an issue regarding
off-campus life that could be relevant for discussion with the GSC, please

2. Kung Fu Panda 3

Description: Have you ever wanted to watch a round yet hyper-flexible panda
fight villainy for one hour and 35 minutes?

If yes, you should join OCH to watch the third installment of Kung Fu
Panda! We'll be experiencing this epic in 3D, so you'll get all the
twirling and kung fu ass kicking up close and personal.

We'll be enjoying this cinematic masterpiece at AMC Loews in the Boston
Common at 9PM. For those who just want to watch the movie, you can find me
at the theater at 8:45PM to collect your ticket. Alternatively, we will be
having dinner at 7:30PM at Q Restaurant (or some other hip Asian
restaurant) to prepare ourselves mentally and physically for the movie.

Spots are limited. Sign-up is for a chance to get a spot. Only those
selected will be notified. Off-campus will cover the movie ticket and $15
towards the price of the meal. We cannot cover alcoholic beverages.

Come join our off-campus housing ice skating event at the MIT Ice Rink! We
will have hot chocolate, snacks, great music, and free skate rentals!

Each off-campus resident can bring at most one guest. We will cover cost of
skate rentals for you and your one guest. Please sign up if you are
interested.

Description: Ever wanted to try out Rock Climbing?? Looking for a new
exercise activity for winter that is indoors? Come check out rock climbing
(bouldering and belaying) at Rock Spot with your fellow off campus graduate
students. It is a truly social exercise. So lets give climbing a shot and
proudly flaunt our baby calluses at the end of the day. Spots are limited.
