Salutations!
For those who have been on this mailing list, welcome to the start of the
new year! Take the very short survey
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1U5Skd4IW7_MS4t3BWSf2z0Fqz65vIu6zWh3OhEwZLa0/viewform?usp=send_form>
!
For those getting this for the first time, then let us introduce ourselves.
We (Jennifer, Patricia, and Rachit) are the GSC HCA Off-campus Co-chairs.
We coordinate different events for students who live off-campus. We only
send ONE email a month, letting you know about the events we planned and
perhaps a few other events going on at MIT.
Typically in the past, most of our events have been meals at restaurants.
Since we only have a limited numbers of spots, for most events we ask that
people sign-up if they are interested. Then we will randomly choose people
from the sign-up to attend. However, make sure you read the details of each
event, because this may change. For instance, *we have an ice cream event
where all first year students can attend! *(See below).
Because it is the start of a new year, we have a survey
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1U5Skd4IW7_MS4t3BWSf2z0Fqz65vIu6zWh3OhEwZLa0/viewform?usp=send_form>
for
you guys. It is completely optional and only seven questions long, so it
should take no time at all. Also, if you complete the survey you can choose
to be entered for a drawing to get a pass which lets you attend any future
event Off-Campus Housing has in the next year!
As always, if you have a suggestion for an event or an issue regarding
off-campus life that could be relevant for discussion with the GSC, please
let us know. If you have an event that you would like advertised to this
list, use this form: http://goo.gl/QtXtNP . We're always looking for help
brainstorming and organizing new events.
Your friendly Off-Campus- Co-chairs,
Jennifer, Patricia, and Rachit
