This month we are focusing on fitness. Sign up for events and keep active!
Thank you all who filled out the survey. It's great to get to hear ideas
from you guys.

2. Democratic Debate at the Thirsty Ear

Description: The Thirsty Ear will be showing the debate between the
democratic party nominees. The debate starts at 9 pm. 21+ id is required.

3. Kickboxing
When: Sat, Oct. 17th, 12.45pm - 2pm

Description: Winter days are coming, which means less opportunities to
workout outdoors. Why not give a new indoor workout routine a shot? I'll
bet you'll get hooked (pun intended).
Come join OCH for a private group session at ilovekickboxing. Class will be
led by trained professionals and will be catered to include every level of
trainees. OCH will cover $15 to the charge. You'll only need to supplement
$5 and you'll get three free classes (including the first one on Oct 17th)
and a pair of kickboxing gloves.
Sign-up is for a lottery for a spot. Only those selected will be notified.

4. Biking To Walden
When: Sat. Oct. 24, starting at 10am
Where: Meet at Alewife T-Station

Description: You've been meaning to go out and bike. Now is your time to do
it.
The plan is to bike down the Minute Man Bikeway, to Concord, then to Walden
and back (though the plan is flexible). You must have your own bike and a
helmet to ride with. Weather permitting, we can have a water gun fight at
Walden (we have water guns to use!).
Off-campus housing will supply lunch for all the participants. Sign-up if
you are interested.

5. Aerials w/ Eshe Circus Arts
When: Sat., Oct. 24, 5:30pm-7pm
Where: 44 Park Street Somerville, MA 02143

Description: Come enjoy the wonders of the big top without facing the
terrifying reality of clowns!
If you've ever dreamed of flipping about in the air using silks, trapezes,
or hoops, your dreams are coming true! Eshe Circus Arts will host an aerial
taster class where you get to try each discipline, surrounded by qualified
instructors and soft padding. No experience or athletic ability
required--we're just going to have fun!
Off-campus housing will cover $15 of the $25 cost per person. Sign-up is
for a lottery for a spot. Only those selected will be notified.
