Hello!

Some events for August! One is great for vegetarians. The other for those
looking to try something out of Cambridge!

We are also welcoming a new off-campus co-chair Rachit! Say hi to Rachit!

Also a friendly reminder to update your MIT certificates if you haven't
already. Otherwise you won't be able to sign up for our events.

If you have a suggestion for an event or an issue regarding off-campus life
that could be relevant for discussion with the GSC, please let us know.

Description: Hey guys come out to the Thirsty Ear on August 4th at 7:30 PM
and celebrate summer! We will have four summer themed beers which are
paired with a food option. As always 21+ w/ govt & MIT photo ID only.
Please have ID ready to show at door. The Thirsty Ear Pub is located in
Ashdown House (NW35). Please enter through the building's lobby. Stay
thirsty my friends!

2. Dinner at Jo Jo Taipei

Description: Come join OCH for a dinner at Jo Jo Taipei in Allston. Amazing
Taiwanese dishes to try out from. Their spicy beef noodle soup is to die
for. It is also located in the heart of Allston so we can go and explore
nearby bars afterward with fellow off-campus housers.

Off-campus housing will cover $15 towards the dinner per person (we cannot
cover alcoholic beverages). Sign-up is a for a lottery for a spot. Only
those selected will be notified.

Description: Come blast off into Veggie Galaxy with OCH!

What could be a better way to unwind from a day toiling in the lab than
eating with fellow off-campus housers? In true diner fashion, Veggie Galaxy
will fill you up and soothe your soul: burgers, milkshakes, and pies. SO
many pies.

Off-campus housing will cover $12 towards the price of the meal (we cannot
cover alcoholic beverages). Sign-up is for a lottery for a spot. Only those
