[HCA Off-Campus Chair]

 Dear fellow off-campus graduate students,

With another new month, and a little more sun, comes even more great events
with MIT Off-Campus. For this edition of grad student "Did you know": Did
you know that your MIT ID gets you into the MFA free of charge? The MIT
Council for the Arts covers the membership fee.

As always, if you have a suggestion for an event or an issue regarding off-
campus life that could be relevant for discussion with the GSC, please let
us know. If you have an event that you would like advertised to this list,

Description: Graduate Student Council would like to invite you to join
fellow off-campus graduate students for brunch at Commonwealth, Kendall
Square's newest farm to table restaurant, on Sunday, April 20. GSC HCA off
campus will cover up to $15/person, not including alcohol.

3. The Book of Mormon

Description: Join your fellow off-campus students in seeing the religious
satire musical, "The Book of Mormon"! HCA Off-campus has a block of group
tickets and will partially subsidize the cost. Attendees will be selected
on a first come, first serve basis and must pay $40 cash to an Off-campus
rep (office location will be sent by email) on Tuesday April 8 in order to
secure their ticket, or their spot will be offered to someone on the wait
list.

5. Science Carnival

Description: Join us for an afternoon of recreational science! We will
prepare liquid nitrogen ice cream, dance on the surface of an oobleck
(non-Newtonian fluid of corn starch and water) tub, and enjoy various other
activities. Ashdown Health and Wellness and MIT EHS will present some
science safety tips. Have a demo or idea you would like to share? Bring it!

7. MIT Kids Clothing and Toy Exchange

Description: The MIT community is invited to participate in our seasonal
kids clothing and toy exchange on April 14, 2013 in the Student Center,
room 491.
The Exchange will include kids clothing, outerwear, shoes, toys and books
for children ages 0-5. Items will be organized by gender and size so you
can quickly find what you need for your growing little ones.

Please DROP-OFF clean, gently used kids (0-5 yrs) clothing, outerwear,
shoes, toys and books between 9:30am - 11:00am in the lobby of the Student
Center, room 491, on April 14th. The EXCHANGE will start promptly at
11:00am.

You do not need to bring clothes to participate.

This event is co-sponsored by MIT spouses&partner and the Harvard Student's
spouses and partners association.
