*1. GSC Off-campus event & party fund*
Hosting a party? The off-campus committee is here to help! You can now
apply to get funding for parties that are open to members of the off-campus
community (you decide how many guests you can accommodate).
To apply for funding, send an email to gsc-hca-offcampus-chair at mit.edu as
early as you can. Mention the event date and time, as well as the general
location (e.g. Central Square, East Cambridge, etc.). Also, let us know how
many guests you are able to accommodate.
We will let you know if we are able to fund your party, and will give you a
rough idea of how much we can provide. We will then advertise the event in
the off-campus mailing, and set up a page where guests can RSVP. You can
then contact the guests to give them details about the party. Several days
before the
event, we will let you know the final funding level, which will depend on
the number of RSVP’s.
Looking forward to hearing about the many exciting parties off-campus.
