Hi Off-Campus Grads,

The Grad Gala is quickly approaching.  Make sure you buy your ticket 
before they are all sold out.  Ashdown and Edgerton are holding a St. 
Patrick's Day festival tomorrow, make sure to stop by and check it out.

As always, if you have an idea for an event you think other off-campus 
students would enjoy and would like some money for it, send me the idea!

The 2011 Gala will feature a sparking wine toast followed by an 
exquisite three-course dinner (menu now available), live entertainment 
by the Beantown Swing Orchestra (now featuring two "American Idol" 
stars) followed by DJ dancing into the night.

2. Edgerton House President - Open Position

Looking to move back on campus?  What better way to get involved in 
on-campus living than becoming a member of the Edgerton House 
Government?  The President position is currently open for 2011.  The 
description of the position is listed below; please contact 
eh-officers at mit.edu if you are interested in the position or have any 
questions.

President:
The president plans and directs meetings for the officers and is able to 
connect with students in other dorm officer positions as well as in the 
GSC to put on events and enact changes that affect residents.  It
is great to meet new people and help contribute to what makes Edgerton a 
community.  They have monthly meetings with the housemasters, house 
manager, student advisory board, and desk captain to address systematic 
concerns and improvements to Edgerton House.

3. Ashdown/Edgerton's St. Patrick's Day Festival
Where: Ashdown Hulsizer Room
When: 7-9pm 3/17, Thursday

Hey Graduate Student at MIT,
St. Patrick's Day is coming up on Thurs, 3/17! Irish or not, come 
celebrate it in style at Ashdown/Edgerton's St. Patrick's Day Festival!

The event will take place in the Hulsizer Room in Ashdown from 7-9 p.m. 
on 3/17.
There will be free food, traditional music, a cultural presentation, as 
well as drinks available from Thirsty Ear with a valid ID. It is open to 
entire MIT community, so do invite your friends!
