some upcoming events happening around campus.

3. Two Dollar Tuesday
What: pay $2 for dinner
When: Tuesday, September 14, 6:00-8:00 PM
Where: Morss Hall (1st Floor of Walker Memorial)
Who: MIT graduate student + one guest

Important information about the event: The first Two Dollar Tuesday 
dinner of the year will have Blue Ribbon BBQ!

Only MIT graduate students may purchase dinner tickets. Each student may 
buy one guest ticket. Guest tickets also cost $2 and must be purchased 
with the student's ticket.  There is no physical ticket; there will be a 
guest list at the event and you will check in there.

Dinner tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The name on 
each ticket must be the name of the person using the ticket. Tickets are 
non-transferable.  There will be no refunds if you cancel and/or do not 
show up.

To guarantee the availability of food for people who are a little late, 
attendees are not allowed to get a second serving between 6:00 and 6:30. 
After 6:30, attendees can get a second serving of food.  The 
availability of food is not guaranteed after 6:30 PM.

Your children are welcome and can come in for free.

4. Eastgate Fall BBQ
When: 1pm - 4pm, Sunday 19th September 2010
Where: Eastgate Courtyard (lawn beside our building)
[If it rains, the event will be relocated to the Penthouse Lounge.]

Come hang out with the friendly family folk at Eastgate and enjoy oodles 
of barbequed gourmet goodies. We may go to sleep at 10pm, but we can 
cook like nobody's business!
