Hi Off-Campus Grads,

Thanks to those of you that stopped by the first ever Off-Campus Housing 
Resource Fair. We had many vendors there providing very valuable 
information about off-campus living. We have an upcoming off-campus 
dinner on May 2 at Maggiano's. Please RSVP if you would like to attend

1. Off-Campus Dinner @ Maggiano's
Maggiano's Little Italy, 4 Columbus Av, Boston
Sunday 5/2, Meet at 5:45pm
$: Bring $10/person

Come join other off-campus graduates for an excellent meal at 
Maggiano's. This is a great opportunity to meet other graduates and to 
enjoy really good food. The dinner will be partial subsidized, each 
attendee will only pay $10 (plus any alcoholic drinks you order). Seats 
are limited, so make sure to RSVP quickly.

2. MIT Housing will be having an information session about graduate 
housing and answering questions related to status, lotteries, 
allocation, off-campus options, etc. on WEDNESDAY 28 April at 8:30p in 
the Ashdown Hulsizer Room. This is intended for all graduate students. 
Please publicise this to your residents. I have attached a poster that 
we have used at Ashdown; you don't have to use this one but feel free to 
if you wish.

Saturday May 1st
A semi-formal celebration of spring with swing music in the Edgerton 
courtyard

5pm: swing dance lesson
5:30-8:30 live music by the Moodswingers sextet swing band
8:30 onward: more music and fun!
All through the evening:  heavy hors d'oeuvres and delectable desserts

This event is free! Join us in the beautiful Edgerton courtyard under 
the flowering cherry trees for a twilight semi-formal dance with a live 
swing band. Cash bar by the Thirsty Ear (ID required). All MIT graduate 
students welcome!

6. Dinner at Six -- Free dinner with Faculty!

This monthly dinner is an opportunity to have casual conversations with 
many of your favorite MIT faculty. The dinner is FREE, and runs only an 
hr long. RSVP to dinner-at-six at mit.edu is necessary as space is limited 
(which also means that if you RSVP you MUST show up!). THIS MONTH'S
