The main purpose of this family forum is to discuss and address the

include on-campus child care, maternity/paternity leave policies, and
how to connect the on-campus and off-campus family communities. We
would love to hear your thoughts on these issues as well as others. If
you have any items you would like to add to the agenda, please send them
to gsc-hca at mit.edu.

In addition to discussing family concerns, the second purpose of this
meeting is to recruit a chairperson for the GSC's Family Subcommittee.
If you are interested in this position, please let us know, either by
email or by attending the meeting. More information on the subcommittee
can be found here: http://gsc.mit.edu/index.php/hca/141

its early stages. This program would provide mentoring, networking,
career development, and empowerment of graduate women through regular
programming, collaborations with existing services and offices at MIT,
social events, and a formal mentoring program.

Interested women are needed as advocates and advisors, as a departmental
representatives, or as a Founding Executive Board Members. Please
contact kfurman at mit.edu for more details on the current efforts of this
program and how to get involved, at any level of the process.
