[Gsc-hca-offcampus] Upcoming Events - Grad Gala

Hi Off-Campus Grads,
I just got notice that tickets for the 3rd annual Grad Gala were going 
on sale today. It looks like something happened to their website, but 
they are working on it and tickets should be available shortly.

Also, next Thursday (March 19) the off-campus subcommittee will be 
meeting to discuss events to occur this term. The meeting is in Walker 
Memorial at the GSC Office (50-220) at 6pm. A free non-pizza dinner will 
be provided. Please RSVP to jtc at mit.edu if you plan to attend to ensure 
plenty of food.

2. Harvard-MIT SpeakEasy Dance Party
Saturday, March 14, 9pm-1am, Sidney-Pacific Multi-Purpose Room

MIT and Harvard are coming together once again to dance the night away
at this annual event. This time, we will take you back to 1920's
prohibition time to a secret party lounge where the star DJ of the
Boston area, DJ Influence will make sure that you are at the best
party of the night in town!

term. In the past, activities have included bowling, brewery tours, and 
dining events to name a few. Have an idea for a new event, please bring 
them to the meeting. As always, a free, non-pizza dinner will be provided.

food for all. Remember, this is your money, so come share how you want 
it spent.

4. The Parking and Transportation Office will once again provide shuttle 
service to Logan Airport for the Spring Break.   Shuttles will be 
available Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21. Advance reservations 
are required.

Please visit the Parking and Transportation Office web site 
http://web.mit.edu/facilities/transportation/shuttles/airport.html for 
details and shuttle availability. The shuttle fee is $10.00.  All 
reservations will be processed via the web site and the shuttle fee will 
be billed to student bursar accounts or via employee payroll deductions. 
Shuttles will depart from the Kresge parking lot at the scheduled time 
and will not wait for late arriving passengers.  The normal trip time 
from MIT to Logan Airport is about 30 minutes, but please allow up to 
one hour for this trip.  Traffic, construction and Airport Security 
delays should be expected.
