Hi Off-Campus Grads,
Happy Presidents Day. I hope you are all enjoying the first holiday of
the term. Below are some upcoming events. As always, if you have a
particular event you would like to see the off-campus subcommittee run,
just send an email to me and we'll see what we can do.

2. Off-Campus Frog Pond Skating
Sunday, February 22
Ever ice skated at the Frog Pond? NO! Well this is one of those must dos
while you are in Boston. And the best part, now you can go for free. The
off-campus subcommittee will be subsidizing the entrance fee and the
first 15 skate rentals. You can bring your own skates (and are
encouraged to). The Frog Pond has lockers for rent and a snack bar for
warm drinks and food.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Danielle Zurovcik
(drz[at]mit[dot]edu). Danielle will send out the final details (time,
meeting place, etc) about the event closer to the weekend.
This is a very kid friendly event! The event is open to all off-campus
graduates and their spouses/partners and children.

3. Meet with your Off-Campus Reps
Thursday, February 26, 12-1pm
Lobdell Dining Hall, Student Center, W20-208
Do you have issues/concerns that you feel aren't being addressed by the
GSC? Feel like the GSC only cares about on-campus students? Well if so,
now is your chance to be heard. The GSC Off-Campus representatives are
now going to be holding 'office hours'. Twice a month the reps will have
informal meetings around campus to listen to anything you think GSC
could be doing better for the off-campus community.
The first meeting will be Thursday, February 26th. Representative Ming
Tang will be there to discuss any issues. Feel free to email Ming
(mytang82[at]mit[dot]edu) if you cannot make it to the meeting.
