Hi Off-Campus Grads,
This Sunday seems to be the day for events. We (off-campus) will be 
organizing a trip to a farm for apple and pumpkin picking. Why buy your 
Halloween pumpkin from a store when you can pick out the perfect one 
from the field?

1) Apple & Pumpkin Picking
Sunday 1-4pm (October 12)
Shelburne Farm, 106 W Acton Rd, Stow, MA 01775

Off-campus is organizing a trip to the Shelburne Farm for a traditional 
New England apple & pumpkin picking event. Transportation and snacks 
will be covered. Please RSVP by Friday to Steve Goldfless (sjg at MIT.EDU) 
if you would like to come. Also, please indicate if you have a car and 
are willing to drive (we'll pay for gas or zipcar fees). Spaces limited 
by the number of drivers we get. Now go pick those perfect apples and 
pumpkins while enjoying cider and donuts.

The Next Ashdown & SP Brunch will be held on Sunday 10/12/2008 in the 
Hulsizer Room at 12:00pm. It is sponsored by the Graduate Student 
Office. There will be eggs, sausages, fruits, pancakes, ice creams and 
other surprises. Please bring your own plates and enjoy the food with us.
