5. Coordinators needed for Dinners with the Dean
Dean Steve Lerman is searching for two coordinators for Dinners with the
Dean. This is a great way to get to know a senior member of the MIT
administration.
Dinners with the Dean is a series of up to four dinners each year with
Dean for Graduate Education Steve Lerman. Coordinators of the series
will work with members of the Office of the Dean for Graduate Education,
including the dean himself, to plan each dinner.
The series is meant to be a forum for graduate students to express their
concerns directly to the dean. Dinners are generally held at the MIT
Faculty Club for 25 randomly-selected graduate students.
If you are interested in this position or would like more information,
please reply to Heather Fry of the dean's office at heatherf at mit.edu.
