Hi off-campus grads,
Sorry if you get this twice, the first one didn't seem to send. There's a
lot going this next week. Check out these fun events and make sure to get
some cheap/free food (that's the best kind). The off-campus subcommittee is
busy working on some fun events like dim sum, a lunch during restaurant
week, and chocolate tasting, so keep you eye out.

1) This Sunday, March 9, at 11 am, Ashdown House will host a brunch in the
Hulsizer Room. There will be pancakes, sausages, eggs, bagels, cereal,
fruit, and pastry. Please bring your own plates, utensils, etc. if
possible. This event is sponsored by the Graduate Students Office and is
open to all graduate students.

All are welcome - adults and children.
Free Admission and snacks

3) Boston Modern Orchestra Project Concert
Tuesday, March 11th 7pm
Moonshine Room at the Club Café, 301 Columbus Ave, Boston (Doors open at
6:00pm)
Bringing new music to uncommon places. Experience brand new music in a back
room setting, headlined by BMOP musicians. Witness the evolution of Lisa
Bielawas Synopses project-music composed in residence for solo artists.
$10 for MIT graduate students and guests
$25 for MIT Club of Boston members

5) Sidney-Pacific Smash Brothers Wii Tournament
What: Brunch at Sidney Pacific
Date: Saturday, Mar 15

Venue: Sidney Pacific NW-86 Multi-purpose Room
Details:
Come do battle with your fellow grad students in a fun tournament playing
Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii! There will be food for all and
prizes for the winners! We will have two Wiis going at time so players of
all levels are welcome. To get a spot in the tournament, please RSVP to

6) Dinner at Six -- Free dinner with Faculty!

This monthly dinner is an opportunity to have casual conversations with many
of your favorite MIT faculty. The dinner is FREE, and runs only an hr long.
