Hi Off-Campus Grads,
Below is a survey that I was asked to pass along. Please take a moment to
fill it out and give your opinions.

Also, don't forget about the off-campus meeting tonight at 7pm in 50-220
(free food).

What is Living Pink?
The Living Pink Guide is an annual survey sponsored by the student group,
GaMIT.

Purpose:
It's designed to help incoming students understand how welcoming each of the
dorms, fraternities, sororities, and ILGs at MIT are to lesbian, gay,
bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals.

Goal:
Our goal is not to single out particular groups as "bad" or "good", but
rather to ask questions which are very important, but very difficult for
incoming students to ask. Many of them will be trying to find a place at MIT
where they fit in and may be very worried about the reactions questions
about LGBT acceptance might provoke. We hope to make the process of "coming
out" on campus as painless as possible.

Outcome:
The results of this anonymous survey will be presented online and in print.
The questions relating to your demographics (department, citizenship status,
class year) and Part III (MIT as a whole) will not be published in the
Living Pink Guide.

The survey only allows one submission per student, but does not attempt to
verify the accuracy of their statements, nor link the survey with a
particular individual. Inappropriate or vulgar comments will not be printed,
and we will focus on comments which convey direct experience (good or bad)
rather than hearsay.
