Dear off-campus grads,

Sorry for the second email of the week, but there are some interesting
events coming up. The details about the following events are below. 
1. Free dinner with MIT Police - TONIGHT
2. Bocce tournament - TONIGHT
3. Benefit Concert for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
4. Boston's Chinatown bakery tour

Event #1: FREE dinner with MIT Police (tonight)

Come ask any questions you might have about safety on campus or the workings
of the MIT police. Enjoy pizza, pasta, salad, and drinks.

What: Enjoy a FREE dinner and talk with MIT police officers.
Where: Stata Center, Dreyfoos 461
When: TONIGHT - Thursday June 21, 2007. 6:30pm
RSVP: We still have spaces available, so just come by and enjoy dinner.

Event #2: Bocce tournament at Edgerton House

Edgerton will be hosting a doubles bocce tournament TONIGHT, beginning at
6:00 pm, in the courtyard. Prizes will be awarded for the first- and
second-place pairs. All graduate students are invited to participate.  Light
refreshments will be served.

Registration for the tournament is *required*: interested students should
e-mail eha-athletic at mit.edu with the names of both players, by Thursday at
2pm.

Event #3: Benefit Concert for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Come to a benefit concert to help raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society. FREE FOOD will be provided at "The Thirsty Ear" and the golden
amber will surely be flowing. There is a recommended donation of $20, but
ALL proceeds will be considered a direct contribution to The Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society... and they are TAX Deductible.

What: Benefit concert with FREE food
Where: The Thirsty Ear (305 Memorial Dr, basement of Ashdown)
When: 5:30pm Sunday, June 24 2007. 
Why: Come support a good cause and enjoy free food and music
Who: This event is open to everyone (21+ with valid ID).

Event #4: Chinatown bakery tasting tour.

Come on a guided tasting tour of 6-7 bakeries in Boston's Chinatown. Drinks
and treats which are the specialty of each bakery will be included. The
event is limited to 20 people, so RSVP to lock in your spot.

What: Explore Chinatown's bakeries (FREE food along the way)
Where: Meet at 66 Harrison St. in Boston at 2pm
When: Sunday, July 1 2007. 2-3:30pm
Who: Off-campus grads and their spouses/partners. Children welcome.
