DJ, no cover, and cash bar. Event has been moved inside due to weather.
Must be 21+ with valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.

2. Summer Beach Trip
July 29, Sunday, 9:45am
Come to Signing Beach, Manchester-by-the-Sea
Meet at North Station Commuter Rail Station at 9:45am. Subsidy for travel
and ice cream provided for first 50 people to RSVP. There are still some
spots, so RSVP.

3. Ashdown Brunch
This Sunday at 11 am, Ashdown and Sidney-Pacific present Sunday Brunch in
the Ashdown House Hulsizer room.  There will be sausages, eggs, pancakes,
bagels, cereal, fruit, and muffins.  This event is sponsored by the Office
of the Dean for Student Life.

4. Six Flags Trip
Sat. Aug. 4, 2007

Looking for thrills this summer? Join GSC and your friends at Six Flags and
Hurricane Harbor on Sat. Aug 4 for a fun-filled day of roller coasters,
water rides, entertainment, shows, and food. 

Ticket info: 
With Transportation: $20 for students, $25 for guests Without
Transportation: $15 for students, $20 for guests Tickets go on sale
beginning Monday July 23 from 2-5pm at the GSC office (Walker Memorial,
50-220) and continue for the next two weeks from 2-5pm.
Each MIT graduate student and post-doc will be allowed one guest. Please
bring your MIT ID when you purchase tickets. 

Transportation Info:
Buses will leave Sidney Pacific at 10am and arrive at Six Flags at noon
Buses will leave Six Flags at 8pm and return to Sidney Pacific at 10pm

5. Ashdown summer concert
Aug 8th, Ashdown House

Don't hide your musical talents! Showcase them at our upcoming Ashdown
summer concert on Aug 8th, followed by a wine and cheese reception.  Anyone
affiliated with MIT or their guests are encouraged to participate. If you
would like to perform, email Chris Kish at ckish at mit.edu.
