Thanks,

Off-campus grad students:

Are you interested in moving back on-campus for a year?

Edgerton House (the MIT grad dorm) is holding officer elections this month.
Elected Edgerton officers serve a 1-year term, and organize events for
residents throughout the year. All single MIT grad students are eligible for
running for office. As an incentive, housing at Edgerton is guaranteed for
those who get elected, for the housing year starting Fall 2007 (without
entering the housing lottery).

The whole process begins with you declaring your candidacy, starting on Monday,
February 5 (and before February 18). Campaigning starts on February 12, and
ends on February 21. Elections are on February 22. There are 9 elected officer
positions, and all are open.

For full details, and to declare your candidacy, see the elections website at:
http://eh.mit.edu/elections2007.php

So give some thought to being an Edgerton officer. It'll look good on your
resume, and you'll have the chance to implement changes that'll improve the
graduate housing experience.

Good luck! Email me (at eh-sab at mit.edu) if you have questions.

Cheers,
Biz
