Here are a few fun upcoming events. Make sure to hurry and get your Two
Dollar Tuesday tickets, it's a great deal for dinner and will sell out
quick. Also, make sure to stop by the off-campus holiday party, it should be
lots of fun.

2. Off-Campus Holiday Party

I know the holiday party invitations are flying around, but don't plan on
party hopping after this one cause you won't want to leave! 

Santa's Elves have been preparing a festival of lights and compiling more
Christmas music than your ears can stand! As tradition holds there will be
the infamous naughty making stations of cookies and ornaments. Be prepared
to "ooooh" & "ahhh" as the tasty German flaming festive drink,
Feuerzangenbowle will be makings it's debut at 268 this year.

Special reserved parking for all those arriving by reindeer! As always,
costumes and hats are encouraged.

3. Edgetown Cookdown
Sunday, December 9, 9:00pm

Edgerton House Association (EHA) would like to welcome you to participate in
the Edgetown Cookdown, a student cooking contest! There are prizes worth
more than $150 to be won!!!

You will also be reimbursed for food expenses upto $30. For the rules or
answers to any questions, please email eha-social at mit.edu with subject as
Edgetown Cookdown.

This event is organized by Edgerton House Association (EHA) and sponsored by
EHA and GSC Funding Board.

4. Two Dollar Tuesdays is a series of events in which MIT grad students pay
only $2 to have a hearty dinner and adult beverages in a social atmosphere.
The next Two Dollar Tuesday is Tuesday, December 11th, at 6:00 PM in Lobdell
(second floor dining area of the student center).  The dinner is catered BBQ
food (pulled pork, pulled chicken, and beef brisket).  There is also a
vegetarian option.

TICKET SALES BEGIN AT 5:00 PM TODAY.  You can buy your ticket(s) at:

Each ticket is $2 and must be purchased in advance; a grad student may only
purchase one ticket for themselves, plus they may invite one guest, whose
ticket will also cost $2.  There will be no refunds in the event of a
cancellation.
