I wanted to let you know of this exciting event coming to MIT very soon:

Subject: Total Regatta @ MIT

Date: November 11-12, 2006
Location: MIT Sailing Pavilion on the Charles River

The Total Regatta brings together MIT students and alumni with  
representatives of Total, the fourth largest oil and energy  
engineering company in the world. The event consists of a two-day  
fleet race at the MIT Sailing Pavilion followed by a dinner on  
Saturday evening.  French food will be provided both days. Pros and  
beginners alike are welcome.  Participation is limited to 50 people

In addition, the MIT-France program and Total invite all regatta  
participants to a reception on Wednesday, November 15th at the Stata

8-9:00am    	Breakfast, check-in and boats assignments
9:00        	Competitor's meeting and short training for newcomers.
10:00         	Race starts
12:00        	Lunch break (food provided)
1-4:30pm    	Race continues
5:30-7:30   	Reception at Muddy Charles

Sunday November 12, 2006
9-9:15am    	Check-in and boats assignments
9:30 -3pm    	Race continues. Lunch provided.
3:00        	Race concludes followed by MIT-Total Trophy presentation.
