Dear Family Subcommittee members!

I wanted to make sure you knew about the MIT Kids Clothing and Toy Exchange that is happening TOMORROW (Thursday Oct 17th) in the Stata Center. See below for details. I have gone to this event almost every year, and it is great – especially if you need to find clothes for babies and small toddlers!

MIT Kids Clothing & Toy Exchange — October 17th

The MIT community is invited to participate in our seasonal kids clothing and toy exchange on October 17, 2013 in the Stata Center.  The Exchange will include kids clothing, outerwear, shoes, toys and books for children ages 0-5. Items will be organized by gender and size so you can quickly find what you need for your growing little ones.

Please DROP-OFF clean, gently used kids (0-5 yrs) clothing, outerwear, shoes, toys and books between 9:30am - 11:00am in the lobby of the Stata Center on October 17th.  The EXCHANGE will start promptly at 11:00am.

You do not need to bring clothes to participate. A few volunteers are needed to assist in setting up and organizing clothes. Please email stap at med.mit.edu if you are interested or have questions.

This event is co-sponsored with Choose to Reuse, a monthly event organized by Working Green Committee, Sustainability at MIT, and the Department of Facilities. Every third Thursday, share stuff you don't need any more. Bring reusable items between 8:00 and 11:00 AM to the big white lobby in the Stata Center at the corner of Main and Vassar Streets. Pick up starts at 11:00 AM and continues until 1:00 PM. All leftover items are donated or recycled.
