Good evening fellow HCAers,
As those of you at last week's meeting will recall, MIT Parking and Transportation has agreed to 'test run' a free bike repair service, bringing a real mechanic on campus for students. This is an excellent opportunity to help grad students with their tuneups and simple repairs. The first clinic will happen this Friday and Saturday (October 29th and 20th) from 10am to 3pm both days. Please find a flyer attached.
Aside from spreading the word, we need your help as volunteers to make this trial a success and secure this service into the future. Please visit the volunteer signup sheet and give an hour of your time: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ai9uHRQUdPkTdC1NU2RoSllxTmR0ZlpiZWpqVEVlQlE&hl=en&authkey=CJfh474J. Volunteers do not need to be mechanically inclined, but just willing and able to help keep order, do some running for the mechanic and so on.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Todd
